Web performance: loading, responsiveness and stability

Measure the experience, then improve the parts that get in the visitor’s way.

A website should load without making visitors wait unnecessarily and respond when they use it. Measurement helps identify what needs attention.

## Core Web Vitals - LCP describes loading of the main content. - INP describes responsiveness to interactions. - CLS describes unexpected layout shifts.

## Practical checks 1. Compress images and provide suitable dimensions. 2. Reserve space for images to reduce layout shifts. 3. Load nonessential content when it is needed. 4. Review scripts and test on a slower connection.

## Interpret results carefully A local test is useful for finding problems, but it does not represent every visitor’s device and connection. Better speed alone does not guarantee rankings or more enquiries. Review usability, content and real usage together.
